The main building’s side wing of La Cerisaie used to be occupied by the wine cellar, carriage stables and the storey was used for the storage of dry goods. These last rooms have been completely reconstructed (only the roof and outer walls were preserved) into 2 charming holiday cottages (gîtes).
Through a cut-away in the roof, a large private and sunny terrace was created with a view onto the garden and the mountains lying beyond, with French windows leading to the living room. These cottages are bright and cool thanks to a high incidence of light, very good roof insulation and high ceilings.
All the rooms are arranged with “terre cuite” paving tiles, charming antique closets, tables, chairs, etc., combined with modern comfort. There is heating everywhere, a central exhaust system is present and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking range (oven), microwave and refrigerator, including kitchen linen. A washing machine is available.
There is a private parking place in front of the gîtes. Through an inclined pathway, you reach the central hallway of the gîte, which directly adjoins the cherry garden.
You are on holiday in your “own” cottage while you can also enjoy the many accommodations of La Cerisaie. What else is there to wish for?

Unlike the Rooms and the Studio, these gîtes are perfectly fit for families with children.

Arrangement Gîte 1:
This 3-person gîte has a surface area of 50 m². It is a duplex housing unit (2 floors). The ground floor is occupied by the bedroom, which is fitted with a double bed size 150 x 200 and an entrance to the parking place of your car and to the garden, a separate toilet and the bathroom, including a bath and washbasin. Through a staircase you reach the storey, occupied by the living and dining room, including a kitchen corner and a balcony with French windows.
This gîte is also fit for a family with a baby or toddler. An extra (small) bed can be added on the landing of the ground floor.

Arrangement Gîte 2:
This 4-person gîte has a surface area of 60 m². It is a ground floor housing unit with a staircase leading from the living room to the attic room, which is fitted with two single beds, very suitable for children.
This gîte has a large kitchen corner, a dining area, a living room and a balcony with French windows. There is a small hallway leading to the master bedroom, the toilet, and the bathroom with washbasin and walk-in shower (renewed in 2009).

Energy:
For the consumption of water, gas and electricity in these gîtes, we charge a fixed amount of € 20.

Bed linen:
The bed linen is included in the price. Extra bed linen and/or changing the linen is taken care of on request and for a charge of € 5 per person.

Bath linen:
The bath linen is not included in the price and is taken care of on request. A set of € 5 includes a face cloth, towel and bath towel.

Baby-sitting service:
For parents who would like a night out without their children, we offer a special baby-sitting service.

Cleaning of the gîtes:
We know from experience that the cleaning of a gîte takes about 3 hours. We do not find it very reasonable to let you spend your last holiday moments in this manner. For this reason we let the cleaning be taken care of for you, so you can enjoy your holidays till the last minute!

Breakfast – diner:
As tenant of the gîte you can enjoy, if you wish, our breakfast and our diner on the days we do the cooking. In both cases, please inform us in time.
